As an expanding business in the UK, Investzoom Market Research’s business plan aims to function as a full service market research agency, developing unique and bespoke market research solutions for UK based and multinational clients, while focusing on Eastern European regional markets.
In this context, Investzoom’s approach should comprise of a unique combination of UK based study management, analytics and reporting, as well as the use of widespread but well grounded local field forces (interviewers, moderators, panellists, viewers, mystery shoppers etc.)
For this venture we're in a position to search for one (or maybe two) regular business partners, where each partner would have his/her own specific role and run this venture on two (or more) wheels, instead of on a single wheel. Therefore, in order to be certain that you would fit the role, please find below my credentials and expectations:
Our responsibilities and assets
- Responsibilities:
- Delivering consistent brand image, website, marketing materials;
- Online marketing: SEO, blogging, social networking;
- Delivering verified suppliers and fieldworkers (from all of the Eastern European markets) in order to commission new projects, as they arise;
- Recruiting Polish respondents who live in the UK for research purposes (this is a minority of almost 1 million people, worth researching, and I have noticed a niche in providing this type of ethic insight);
- Constant monitoring of the execution of insights delivery;
- Assets:
- Access to Eastern European online panels (ca 30,000.00 participants via various operators across the CEE. The final capacity should be one big panel for all CEE countries with several million active respondents – this is a realistic plan by the end of 2009);
- Access to various external CATI studios (the idea is to join them virtually – details to shortlisted potential partners only);
- Access to various viewing facilities across CEE countries, including supplying reliable local moderators (online focus groups and bulletin boards are also accessible - details to shortlisted potential partners only);
- Several ideas regarding technological improvements for international research in order to be much more effective in the UK market in this type of research approach (details to shortlisted potential partners only)
- Solid b2b sampling sources for CEE countries and very innovative and reliable sampling techniques;
- Our personal experience in working for other MR agencies, small businesses and managing one bigger online project from the UK;
Your responsibilities and assets:
- Responsibilities:
- Consultation on the final content of a main corporate website (to make this a good point of sale)
- Sales, pitch, presentations, directly to clients (we will handle pitching and contacting other MR agencies, advertising, PR agencies etc.);
- Contacting corporations of a non marketing nature (manufacturers, retailers, service providers);
- Co-management of projects (from briefing to presentation);
- Sharing roles of project conduct (to be agreed – depending on exact skills, e.g. I’m good at quals and management, but quant analysis is a weak point);
- Assets:
- Access to survey combo software (qual+quant+desk);
- Network of business contacts (in order to boost the sales and bidding processes);
- Business stamina, acumen and capacity to start market research programmes immediately;
Please be aware this is not the employment role. You need to be self-employed to apply for a partnership. At the beginning, we offer commission based profit sharing (very competitive). In general terms, our main goal is to control at least 60 % of ethnic and Eastern European insights managed and commissioned from the UK and US. As you can see, this is a very ambitious task, and therefore I need a second person to team up with, in order to benefit from working together.
